The Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I've been pecking away at this one for a long time...might be the most brush miles of any of my paintings. Other than the green in the trees on the canyon floor, this is a four color palette...raw sienna, ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson, and titanium white. Click the image for a larger view.
