Catalyst
I am using this blog as a catalyst, to inspire me to paint every day. There are forms, compositions and color juxtapositions everywhere i look, provided that i take the time to do so. So if you see that i haven't posted a painting in several days, leave me a comment deriding me for my laziness and lack of artistic conviction. I have no excuse not to put brush to canvas, regardless of the subject matter around me. I hope you enjoy the results.

All that's missing is that blue sky...
"engagement bay" on Maxwell Lake -- no better way to start a commitment than to just hold hands and "jump in" together when the water looks so inviting...
Congratulations Zack - I was just thinking how I liked the distant mountains there when I read the caption. Congratulations to both of you!
This painting has such a nostalgic feel to it -Like family camping trips to the lake in summer. I don't know why, maybe the sun-bleached colors. Whatever it is, I love it! Thanks for sharing and it's even cooler to learn it's a special place to you. Congrats!
